Strong caring families equals a strong caring community!

The Elizabeth House Foundation is a registered charity that helps some of the most vulnerable families in our community grow stronger.

Our mission is to support young pregnant women and families in difficulty. We do this by raising funds for Elizabeth House. Through its residential and external programs, Elizabeth House provides a full range of rehabilitation services to help young pregnant women adjust to pregnancy and to help young parents adapt to their role as parents. We also support activities in the greater community that Elizabeth House is a part of through the provision of programs and services for young parents and their families. We do this in part by raising funds to support the work of Les Maisons Transitionnelles O3 On Our Own, a non-profit organization providing affordable housing and support services to young families who need support as they integrate into the community and make plans for their future. Elizabeth House and O3 On Our Own are two vital organizations that provide safe and caring places where vulnerable young parents - especially young mothers - can care for their children while acquiring the confidence and skills to build strong, stable and loving families.
